Quick assembly

Zhiyun Smooth Q2 is compatible with most mobiles on the market, even large premium models with covers fitted. For example, iPhone 11 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus. The adjustable holder can be set to a maximum width of 85 mm and also works with the mobile placed in height format, perfect if you want to film for Instagram. Thanks to a smartly designed quick release, it also only takes a moment to mount or remove the phone.

Smooth Q2 is made of strong and durable aluminum alloy and has a comfortable handle with soft silicone coating to provide the best possible grip. A large and easy-to-use joystick on the back of the handle makes it easy to maneuver the gimbal.

Film in completely new ways

Zhiyun Smooth Q2 provides access to a range of special features that take filmmaking to a whole new level.

Following Mode stabilizes shakes but allows larger camera movements so you can aim the camera however you want while Pan Following Mode helps keep the horizon straight in the image. Lock Mode locks the gimbal in the desired direction, so that the camera constantly points at your subject no matter how you move. Full Range POV Mode accompanies all movements, even slopes, so that the video delivers a great sense of presence. Vortex Mode gives action scenes an extra dimension by rotating the phone 360 ​​degrees around the camera's axis.

Together with the Zy Play app, the user also gets access to advanced timelapse shooting, panoramic photography and Object Tracking. Mark the desired object on the phone's screen and the stabilizer will ensure that it is always in the picture.

It is even possible to film with a so-called Dolly Zoom or Vertigo effect, where the mobile's zoom is used to create a dramatic camera ride in the classic Hollywood style!
