About the Cine 7 Monitor

The Cine 7 is a 7-inch on-camera HD monitor designed to meet the needs of cinematographers. With a color-accurate and wide-gamut display, it offers 4K and HDR compatibility, allowing you to see your production in full sunlight with a brightness of 1800 nits. With a Full HD IPS LCD screen of 1920 x 1200 pixels, you get a clear and detailed image of your recording. The Cine 7's 10-bit color processing in 100% DCI-P3 ensures that the image on the screen reflects what is captured by the camera, regardless of lighting conditions.

The monitor has two 3G SDI inputs, with the second input also functioning as loop out, as well as an HDMI input with HDMI loop. You can also use a Sony L-series dual battery holder and have the option to add either a Gold Mount or V-Mount battery plate. With SmallHD's PageOS software, you can build custom page profiles and use reliable tools such as personal frame guides, focus and exposure assistance, high-resolution 3D LUT overlays, histogram, vectorscope, and waveform, among others.

Camera Control for RED DSMC2

The included software license is a digital download that unlocks camera control for RED DSMC2 cameras via an activation code. This gives you access to internal camera settings with intuitive configuration tools via the touchscreen, simplifying the entire workflow.

Included Cables and Accessories

The Cine 7 RED Kit includes a RED CTRL 4-pin to SmallHD 5-pin USB cable, enabling camera control from the Cine 7 monitor. Additionally, a D-Tap to 2-pin power cable is included. The accompanying Sony L-series battery holder features a robust locking system that prevents the battery from being accidentally disconnected.

To protect your monitor, an UltraClear screen protector is also included, providing scratch resistance and polarization. A Micro USB to 5-pin adapter is used to install camera control for RED and KOMODO to SmallHD Smart 7 monitors. Furthermore, an 8GB SD card is included for storing 3D LUTs and recorded images, along with a SmallHD cleaning cloth that is safe to use on glass surfaces and coatings.
