Intelligent Design and Functionality

The SmallRig 4183 cage is constructed with a U-shaped design that makes it stable and secure, preventing twisting during use. It is attached with 1/4”-20 screws on both sides and at the bottom, providing extra security. Additionally, the cage includes a pad that protects the camera from scratches, which is an important feature for preserving your camera's condition.

The cage has a hinge arm designed to fit the camera's curves, improving the grip experience for the little finger. This detail makes it easier to handle the camera during filming. A special HDMI cable clamp is also included to protect the interfaces and ensure stable signal transmission, minimizing the risk of interruptions during recordings.

Multiple Accessory Mounts for Customization

With the SmallRig 4183 cage, you get several 1/4”-20 holes that support various accessories, including the SmallRig Magic Arm 2070 and ARRI 3/8”-16 locating holes to connect the SmallRig Top Handle 2165 or Monitor Mount 2903. The upper NATO rail allows for attaching the SmallRig Top Handle 3322 and left Side Handle 2187, providing additional control and stability when filming.

For vertical photography, two 1/4”-20 holes on the right side are designed to securely attach the camera to a quick release plate. Additionally, there are cold shoe mounts that support microphones and LED lights, as well as a QD port at the bottom to fit a QD strap. The cage is also compatible with Arca-Swiss quick release plates for directly attaching gimbals like the DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, or RS 3 Pro.
