Features and Benefits

The Tilta Camera Cage is equipped with a bi-directional ARCA base plate that makes it easy to switch between a tripod and DJI gimbals. This plate is removable, allowing for quick mounting and dismounting on the side of the cage to easily transition to a vertical configuration. Please note that this cage uses DJI's standard for ARCA, so compatibility with other standards is not guaranteed.

To enhance the security of HDMI and USB-C cables, two cable clamps are included that provide extra stability. These clamps feature tool-free thumb screws for easy handling. The precise fit of the cage preserves access to all ports and functions including the camera's EVF, and the modular design ensures that it can support a range of 1st party accessories, such as the Sony XLR Top Handle.

The Pro Kit also includes the ergonomic Xeno Top Handle that mounts via NATO Rail. This handle improves handling and provides new operational possibilities through its design with increased clearance. The handle has multiple mounting points, including 1/4″-20 threads and a cold shoe mount, making it perfect for mounting an external monitor.

With the included 15mm Baseplate, users can utilize the included 15mm rods to mount various accessories. The adjustable height design allows users to maintain the LWS 85mm standard between the rods and sensor center to ensure compatibility with a variety of accessories. The distance from the center of the rods to the Arca receiver ranges from 18mm to 38mm and is compatible with DJI's standard Arca plates.

The base of the baseplate is compatible with Tilta standard dovetails and also has 1/4″-20 threads for mounting on tripods and other support systems. Additionally, an advanced power grip is included that connects to the cage via NATO Rail and provides power to accessories as well as support for run-stop control via the included cable. The adjustable rotation and the extra handle provide exceptional comfort and flexibility when using the Sony FX2.
