Designed for professional camera setups, this compact power solution helps maintain uninterrupted power during battery changes, making it ideal for cinema cameras, production rigs, and on-set workflows. The Hot Swap Gold Mount Power Box prioritizes external batteries as the main power source while simultaneously charging its internal 36Wh battery. This allows operators to swap batteries without shutting down the camera, helping prevent workflow interruptions during long shooting days. Built for reliable performance, the unit features high-precision voltage detection circuits and delay circuits that monitor voltage, current, and temperature. These safety systems help protect the battery pack, support stable power delivery, and extend the overall lifespan of the unit. To maintain consistent cell voltage, SHAPE integrated a built-in balancing switch. The Power Box also includes low-temperature charging protection and under-voltage load lock functions for enhanced system safety in demanding production environments. For powering camera accessories, the Hot Swap Gold Mount Power Box includes two Twist D-Tap outputs and two LEMO 2-pin outputs. These ports allow users to power additional accessories such as monitors, wireless video transmitters, follow focus systems, and other production tools directly from the Power Box. A 3-color LED indicator provides a quick visual reference of the internal battery level, displaying red, yellow, or green depending on the remaining charge.
