Add 15mm rod support to your matte box when requiring extra rigidity or using rubber donuts.
This kit includes the 15mm LWS bracket and extensions for smaller diameter clamp adapters.
The support extensions are height adjustable and set on a guided track. Raising and lowering the extension sets the height position of the matte box and is secured using the set screw.
80, 85, 87 & 95mm Clamp Adapters
The taller support extension is designed for the 80, 85, 87 & 95mm Frame Safe Clamp Adapters.
100, 104, 110, & 114mm Clamp Adapters
The shorter support extension is designed for the 100, 104, 110, & 114mm Frame Safe Clamp Adapters.
125, 134, 136 & 143mm Clamp Adapters
When using the larger 125, 134, 136 & 143mm clamp adapters, no extension is required and the 15mm LWS Bracket can be mounted directly to the clamp adapters.
15mm LWS Bracket
The 15mm LWS Support Bracket (B1235.1002) attaches to the bottom of the extensions using the two captive screws on the support bracket.
Compatible Matte Boxes
The extension kit is compatible with a range of matte boxes including the Misfit Kick (Mk I & II), 360, Prodigy Air Deflector or ARRI LMB 4x5 when combined with our Frame Safe clamp adapters.
