The cage is securely attached to the camera with 1/4"-20 screws both at the bottom and on top, ensuring a stable and secure mounting. This design makes it easy to switch between different setups without worrying about the camera moving.

Flexible Accessory Mounts

On the top and left side of the cage, there are built-in NATO mounts, allowing you to quickly and easily attach the SmallRig NATO Top Handle 1955 or SmallRig Wooden NATO Side Handle 2121 to facilitate handheld filming. You will also find multiple 1/4" and 3/8"-threaded holes as well as ARRI mounts to attach a variety of accessories, such as the SmallRig Ballhead Arm 2070. For those recording with the Samsung T5 SSD, the SmallRig Mount 2245 is recommended as a perfect accessory to ensure stable storage.

Compatibility and User-Friendliness

This cage is also compatible with the SmallRig HDMI & USB-C Cable Clamp 2246, which helps secure the cables and keep them out of the way during filming. The SmallRig Lens Mount Adapter Support 2247 works excellently on BMPCC 4K to keep the lens stable. However, it is important to note that when the cage is used with BMPCC 6K, the SmallRig Lens Mount Adapter Support 2247 is NOT suitable for use. The base plate also includes a built-in hex key, making it easy to adjust and mount equipment without needing extra tools.
