The Panasonic DMC-GX80 is a powerful and compact system camera with robust and classic design. Autofocus
The GX80 is equipped with Panasonic DFD-Focus, a very fast AF system that has proven to be both fast and reliable. The technology makes the camera faster to find the focus, and it does not search for as long as the sharpness locks. This is very interesting if you want to use the following autofocus (AF-C) or shoot in poorer light conditions. If it gets really dark, use StarLight AF.

The GX80 uses Eye Detection AF, a further development on Face Detection, where the camera automatically finds the eye and focuses on it. Excellent at portrait photo along with many of the brightest Panasonic and Olympus lenses.

4K-photo
The camera has the same possibilities as the G7 and G8 when it comes to 4K photo. The GX80 carries three different modes:

• 4K burst: Shoot 30 bps while holding down the shutter button until the memory card is over.
• 4K burst start / stop: Press to start footing and then press to end footing continuously 30 b / s
• 4K pre-burst: The camera continuously stores 30 bps and when you press the shutter button, you have saved the last second (30 images) before pressing the button.
