Flexible AC/DC power supply
The FJ400 II has a flexible AC/DC battery system, delivering 550+ full power flashes per charge with the included FJ Pro battery or 1000+ flashes with the optional FJ ProMax battery. The batteries are also compatible with the FJ800 and offer AC trickle charging, so you don't need multiple power solutions.


Consistent colour temperature
The FJ400 II maintains a colour temperature stability of 5500K (±150K) over the entire range of 9 stops, with flash steps of 0.1 or 1.0 stops. It features a 30W bi colour LED modelling light, adjustable from 2700K to 6500K, with auto adjust and independent output control.


OLED colour touchscreen
The OLED colour touchscreen interface is designed for simplicity and speed, with intuitive motions such as tapping, swiping and sliding for quick adjustments. Built in help guides provide on screen support, so you can save time and concentrate on your creation.

Creative Mask™ lets you offer your clients more variety without spending extra time on your shoot. Use the touchscreen to choose when each flash fires and how many frames you capture, allowing you to create up to 6 unique light combinations in a matter of seconds. Optimised for light intensifiers
The flash's round head and extended flash tube ensure a wide, even spread of light so you can fill modifiers beautifully. The Bowens mount and Rapid Box Switch Insert ensure seamless compatibility with Westcott's extensive line of portable light intensifiers. The tilt mount also has a 9mm attachment for large umbrellas.
