Godox QT600IIIM (Bowens)
Godox QT600IIIM (Bowens)The Godox QT600IIIM is a 600 Ws studio flash with a Bowens mount. It freezes movement and holds its colour, even when you change power between frames. You set everything from the LCD panel or wirelessly with a transmitter from the Godox X system, such as the X2, X3, XPro II or X3Pro.
Highlights
Guide number 76 at full powerFlash duration down to 1/26100 s, short enough for splashing water or drifting powderUp to 20 frames per second, with a recycle time of 0.01 to 0.9 secondsPower adjustable from 1/1 to 1/256, and to 1/32 in high speed syncHigh speed sync up to 1/8000 s, plus first and second curtain flashBuilt in 2.4 GHz Godox X system, up to 50 metres from the trigger
Flash durationThe flash has two modes. In stable colour mode the flash duration sits between 1/530 and 1/6010 s and the colour barely shifts. In fast mode the flash gets shorter, and that is the mode for stopping a jump or a splash of water.
Multi flashIn multi flash mode the unit fires a burst during a single exposure, so several phases of one movement end up in the same frame. Think of a golf swing, a falling ball or a dance step. You set up to 99 flashes, at a frequency of up to 30 Hz.
ColourIn stable colour mode the colour temperature sits at 5600 K within a 200 K margin, even when you change power during the shoot. In fast mode it climbs to 9500 K, and in high speed sync it drops to between 4600 and 5000 K. Shooting a series that has to hold together afterwards, stable colour mode is the safe choice.
Modelling lightThe modelling light is a 40 W LED rather than a halogen lamp: it draws less power and lasts longer. It shows you how light and shadow fall on the subject before you shoot, which saves test frames. You can dim it to 1 percent so it stays out of your exposure.
Light shapersThe Bowens mount takes light shapers from Godox and from other brands using the same mount: snoots, pro reflectors, beauty dishes, rectangular softboxes, octaboxes and parabolic umbrellas. A glass protection cover sits over the flash tube, and a fan keeps the housing cool during long bursts.,Type: Studio flashPower: 600 WsGuide number: 76 at full powerFlash modes: M, multi, high speed syncFlash duration, stable colour: 1/530 to 1/6010 sFlash duration, fast mode: 1/530 to 1/26100 sColour temperature, stable colour: 5600 K within a 200 K marginColour temperature, fast mode: 5400 to 9500 KColour temperature, high speed sync: 4600 to 5000 KRecycle time: 0.01 to 0.9 sPower control M: 1/1 to 1/256Power control high speed sync: 1/1 to 1/32Power control multi flash: 1/4 to 1/256Multi flash: up to 99 flashes, up to 30 HzSync: high speed sync up to 1/8000 s, first curtain, second curtainDelayed flash: 0.01 to 30 sMASK function: yesModelling light: LED 40 W, 1 to 100 percentOptical slave: S1 and S2Display: LCDWireless system: built in 2.4 GHz Godox XGroups: 16 (0 to 9 and A to F)Channels: 32Wireless ID: 01 to 99Range: approximately 50 mCooling: fanOperating temperature: 10 to 50 °CDimensions: 392 x 176 x 143 mmWeight: 3.33 kgWarranty: 2 years,1 x Godox QT600IIIM flash1 x flash tube1 x glass protection cover1 x light cover1 x power cord
