The Kupo KS-252 is a machined aluminum steadicam sled docking holder designed to let you dock a handheld steadicam sled quickly and securely. It features a 5/8” (16mm) baby receiver so you can mount the sled to stands or carts with ease. The product includes a matching 5/8” (16mm) baby stud for immediate use.

Protected contact and secure locking

Moreover, the docking U-bracket is covered with POM to protect the sled’s finish where it contacts the holder. An aircraft safety pin locks the sled in place and prevents the sled from flopping while docked. As a result, the sled remains stable during storage or transport on a stand or cart.

Built-in tool and knob storage

The bracket includes a tool holder attached to the side, offering a convenient storage solution for small tools. In addition, a threaded hole on the rear of the bracket allows you to store the T-knob once you remove it. Removing the knob lets the bracket fit into a 1-1/8” (28mm) junior receiver, so the holder adapts to different mounting standards.
