The Nanlite PavoTube II 15XR is a 2' RGBWW LED pixel tube that delivers a broad color range and integrated wireless DMX control. It retains the design and physical features of the PavoTube II 15X while adding CRMX LumenRadio wireless DMX in the XR model. The included accessories and padded carrying bag make it ready for location work straight out of the box.

Performance and light quality

The PavoTube II 15XR offers studio-quality light with an expanded and precise color temperature range from 2700K to 12000K. Additionally, it provides green-to-magenta adjustment to fine-tune white balance on set. The tube achieves an average CRI of 97 and an average TLCI of 98, ensuring accurate color rendering for both video and photography.

Control, effects, and connectivity

Nanlite upgraded the control panel and added locking buttons for secure on-device operation. Furthermore, you can control the tube wirelessly via 2.4G or Bluetooth with the free NANLINK mobile app for iOS and Android. The XR model also includes CRMX LumenRadio for built-in wireless DMX functionality, enabling reliable remote control in professional setups.

Creative options include a pixel density of 8 for eye-catching animated looks and 10 new pixel-based effects. These pixel effects expand creative possibilities and work alongside the 15 adjustable practical effects that simulate common lighting scenarios.

Battery and power

The tube includes an internal 2200mAh Li-ion battery that lets you operate untethered. At full brightness, it runs for approximately 1 hour and 26 minutes. For longer shoots, you can power the PavoTube II 15XR using the included AC adapters. The full battery recharge time is about 3 hours when using the supplied adapters.

Durability and mounting

Nanlite refined the tube's physical design for more uniform diffusion and brighter output while upgrading the housing to a robust metal construction. This metal housing reduces concerns around accidental drops or demanding placement scenarios.
