The top plate is mounted on top with two 1/4"-20 screws and can be removed to make room for the installation of the original XLR top handle. The L-shaped cage is securely fixed with a 1/4"-20 screw on the left side and at the bottom, preventing twisting and providing extra stability. Additionally, the cage is equipped with a rubber coating that protects against scratches and damage.

One of the most innovative features is the patented HawkLock quick-release design, which includes an accessory shoe, NATO rail, and Arca-Swiss plate.
