MAVO mark2 S35 is equipped with a new 6K S35 CMOS imaging sensor, its frame rate up to 96 at 6K Wide. Due to dual native ISO 3200/800, it brings outstanding low light performance and facilitates filmmaking with more possibility.

MAVO mark2 offers more comprehensive lens options by introduction of new mount. In addition to keeping the exclusive native KineMOUNT, MAVO mark2 provides two new lens mounts: the Active PL Mount and Active E Mount. Users can install and detach the active mounts without extra flange distance calibration. The two active mounts feature with reliability and cine-style locking mechanism.

Mount Description

MAVO mark2 offers more comprehensive lens options by introduction of new mount. 

Native KineMOUNT: The powerful Native KineMOUNT is very convenient for switching mount adapters including EF, PL and LPL adapters without tools, which helps cinematographers to capture every important and ephemeral moment.
In addition to keeping the exclusive KineMOUNT , MAVO mark2 provides two new lens mounts: the Active PL Mount and Active E Mount. Users can install and detach the active mounts without extra flange distance calibration. The two active mounts feature with reliability and cine-style locking mechanism.

Active PL Mount: With the reliable native design and precise lens locking, Active PL Mount can provide much security to your professional shooting.  Focal length, aperture, and field depth information can be saved in the files, achieving a streamlined and efficient post-production workflow.
Active E Mount: MAVO mark2 with the Active E Mount can support most of modern and lightweight E lenses instantly. It allows users to tune the iris,  focal length and focus of these electronic E lenses in-camera control or manually, also the lens optical stabilization can be activated if the lens has the option. 
Like the Active PL Mount, the Active E Mount displays lens metadata on monitors and saves them into the clip, bringing intuitive interaction on set and  flexibility in post.

Advanced Processing

High-performance computing provides advanced color processing and better highlight performance.
Greater storage bandwidth enables Apple ProRes 4444/XQ clips to be recorded to KineMAG Nano SSDs.
Upload custom 3D LUTs or use the Rec.709 neutral in-camera LUT.

Lightweight, Integrated Body

The compact MAVO mark2 6K S35 body weighs just 3 lb, suiting it for handheld and gimbal use.
Interfaces include two proprietary video outputs, one HD video output, and a control port.
The MAVO mark2 S35 offers multichannel audio recording, an RS-232 port, and an RS power/trigger port.
A hybrid battery plate supports both 14.8V V-mount and smaller BP-U batteries.

Accessory Options

The MAVO mark2 S35 is compatible with Kinefinity TERRA accessories.
An OLED viewfinder, 5" or 7" monitor, and SideGrip are available separately.
Use with the separately available KineBACK-W to add dual 3G-SDI, dual XLR audio, timecode, sync, and additional interfaces.

Frame Rate and Resolution Options

The MAVO mark2 S35 offers Apple ProRes recording options ranging from 422LT to 4444XQ.
Frame rate and resolution options are available at rates up to 6K wide in 4444XQ.
These ProRes codecs speed up your workflow, saving significant time in post-production.

S35 Anamorphic

The MAVO mark2 S35 offers both 5.3K 4:3 and 4.9K 6:5 anamorphic modes, enabling you to choose S35 2x or 1.33x anamorphic lenses.
Images are de-squeezed in the camera for easier monitoring.

Flexible Recording Media

Record using the proprietary 1TB or 2TB KineMAGs with read-only and RAID 5 safety features.
Use the KineMAG Nano Body to record to third-party NVMe M.2 2280 SSDs.
