Bit Part bitbox iPad Plate – Optimal camera control for iPad Mini

Bit Part bitbox iPad Plate is a fully customized plate designed for the Apple iPad Mini (6th generation and up). Together with our good friends at Possum Solutions, we have created a solution that enables an ideal handheld camera control unit. The first shipment is scheduled to be sent in May 2025.

This iPad plate is designed to directly mount a bitbox radio, making it an excellent tool for filmmakers looking for a practical and secure solution for camera control.

Design and Features

Bitbox iPad Plate is available in Space Gray and Signal Orange (RAL2010). It is equipped with multiple mounting points that make it very versatile:

• Bitbox screw pattern: Securely and comfortably mounts your bitbox. There is also a 1/4-20 mounting point behind the bitbox to allow for mounting with a Wedgie, Lnkcine, Cinelock, etc.

• Battery slots: The plate includes a genuine bebob AMMicro plate and also supports mounting of a compatible Anton Bauer Gold Mount or V-Mount micro plate (sold separately). The battery plate can be mounted in multiple orientations for different use cases:

  • The battery can be placed vertically, allowing the iPad device to rest at a comfortable angle for use on a cart or desk.

  • The battery can be placed horizontally for various docking options.

• Threaded holes: Generous 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes for additional mounting options.

• Screw pattern: The pattern around the edge of the plate supports the mounting of Wooden Camera mini rails.

• Cable management: All cables are routed through the plate to keep the installation neat and secure.

• Corner links: Designed with Peak Design Anchor Links in mind for added functionality.
