The Kupo CS-40MK Master C-Stand features a sliding leg that lets you level the stand on inclines or uneven terrain. Two legs are spring loaded to open in fixed positions, while the third leg adjusts by loosening a locking knob and sliding it up or down the main riser. This design gives you quick and reliable leveling where you need it most.

Design and quick setup

The base opens and closes in seconds thanks to Kupo’s distinctive C-Stand base design. Because the legs have three varied heights, you can stack stand bases on set with other equipment or nest them together for compact storage. Captive locking t-knobs on the column keep adjustments secure and prevent knobs from coming loose during use.

Sliding leg and leveling use case

Two spring-loaded legs lock into fixed open positions for immediate support. Meanwhile, the sliding leg moves along the main riser when you loosen the locking knob. As a result, you can raise one leg higher than the others to level the stand on slopes, stairs, or other uneven surfaces without improvising supports.

40" Grip Arm with Hex Stud

The kit includes a 40" grip arm made from steel tubing, finished with a faceted hex stud to keep lighting fixtures positioned on the end of the arm. The tubing surface is machined to create a rough texture that provides a non-slip contact area for accessories. Use this arm to extend fixtures away from the stand while keeping them stable.

2 1/2" Grip Head details

The 2 1/2" grip head mounts on a 5/8" (16 mm) receiver and consists of a pair of rotating aluminum discs. Those discs contain four different sized V-shaped jaws to accept a wide range of accessories. The V-shaped jaws have teeth that firmly grip whatever you mount between the plates.

The grip head also includes an oversized ergonomic T handle and dedicated roller bearings, which provide higher torque for tightening and secure clamping of mounted gear.
