Robust and Secure Mounting

The cage easily mounts to the camera with a 1/4"-20 screw, and to increase stability, there is an M2.5 thread on both sides. This prevents unwanted twisting and ensures that your camera is securely in place, giving you peace of mind during filming.

Multiple Accessory Mounts

SmallRig 2646 Cage offers several mounts for various accessories. You will find 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, and ARRI 3/8"-16 mounts, allowing you to connect accessories such as SmallRig Top Handle 2165, Side Handle 2093, and Monitor Mount 2348. With this, you can easily customize your setup according to your needs and create a more ergonomic working environment.

HDMI Cable Protection and Extra Features

The cage has a built-in HDMI cable clamp (SmallRig HDMI Cable Clamp 1822) to protect your HDMI cable from damage during use. Additionally, the cage offers an integrated accessory shoe on top for mounting microphones and lights, as well as a NATO rail on the left side for mounting SmallRig NATO Handle 2187. This functionality allows you to customize your rig for different recording scenarios.

Practical Accessories and Installation

To facilitate installation, a flat screwdriver is included to attach the camera screw, and this can be stored at the bottom of the cage. There is also a 1/4"-20 threaded hole at the front of the bottom to attach a 15mm Rod 915 for follow focus. For added portability, there are strap mounts on both sides of the cage. Note that the ring mount on both sides of the camera should be removed before the cage is mounted.
