Note that when using the top plate, several hot shoe accessories are confirmed to be compatible, including Sony ECM-B1M, ECM-M1, ECM-B10, and the DJI Mic 2 adapter. On the other hand, Sony microphones ECM-W3, ECM-W3S, and ECM-W2BT are incompatible. If you are using the Sony XLR handle (XLRH2B) or Sony EVF (DVFEL1B), the top plate must be removed first.
