The Nanlite Forza 720 LED Spot Light delivers high output in a compact, transportable package. Rated at 800 watts, it can take on production roles commonly assigned to HMI fixtures while remaining more lightweight and heat-efficient. The system separates into a head and a control unit to simplify handling and positioning.

High output and compact design

Forza 720 produces significant light output while keeping the physical units compact. The head and control unit are designed for easy handling on set. For example, the head weighs 4.8 kg and the control unit weighs 4.2 kg, which helps when you need to mount, move, or reposition the fixture quickly.

Accurate daylight colour

This light provides daylight-balanced 5600K output with high color accuracy. Forza 720 specifies a CRI of 95 and a TLCI of 96, which supports reliable and predictable colour reproduction for both video and photographic workflows.

Precise dimming control

You can dim the light smoothly from 0 to 100% and adjust levels in fine 0.1% increments. This level of precision lets you create subtle changes or dramatic shifts in scene brightness as required by your shot.

Bowens mount for wide modifier compatibility

The fixture uses a Bowens mount, enabling use with a broad range of light modifiers and optics. It is compatible with modifier types such as easy-up softboxes, projectors, fresnels, and barndoors that fit Bowens mounts (accessories sold separately).

Flexible control options

Forza 720 offers multiple control methods to match different production needs:

• Built-in Bluetooth for control via the NANLINK mobile app.
• Built-in 2.4G wireless for use with remotes or the WS-TB-1 Transmitter Box (sold separately).
• DMX and RDM support through XLR input and output for advanced lighting setups.
• A USB-A port for future firmware updates.

AC and battery operation

The light runs on a standard AC outlet. Alternatively, you can power the unit with two V‑Mount batteries (sold separately) rated at either 14.8V or 26V, which mount to the sides of the control unit for convenient access. The control unit also includes multiple loops for attaching safety wires when rigging or mounting.

Built-in effects and presets

Forza 720 includes 11 built-in practical effects—such as Storm, Paparazzi, and TV—that allow you to create complex lighting scenarios quickly. You can deeply customize these effects and save them as presets using the free NANLINK mobile app for rapid recall on set.

Robust yoke and mounting features

The included yoke supports both 5/8" baby pins and 1 1/8" junior pins. It features a single-sided lock for quick adjustments and an umbrella holder for added modifier options. The package includes a quick-release clamp that lets you mount the control unit securely to standard light stands, larger diameter poles, or other mounting points. The system ships with more than 9.5 meters of cabling to give flexibility when positioning the head and control unit.
