Double 5-axis image stabilization 2.0

With a 5-axis image stabilization built into the camera body alongside the image stabilization available in Panasonic lenses, the DMC-G80 delivers crisp handheld images, both in still image and 4k video. Dual I.S means that both systems (camera housing and optics) work together to achieve even more effective stabilization. Obviously, lenses that lack stabilization benefit greatly from the built-in stabilization in the camera housing. Perfect along with bright optics that have not previously been stabilized.

Lightweight, weatherproof and Wifi

With a weight of approximately 500g (bodyhouse only) and weatherproofing, the G80 is the system camera that can accompany any adventure and travel. Wifi is used both to share the pictures to social media but also to use the camera as a remote control. Great for taking self-portraits and group photos where the photographer himself will be involved.

High resolution viewfinder and angled touch screen

Equipped with viewers at 2.360k and 0.74x magnification as well as a 3.0 "angle display of 1040k resolution make photo and video possible at many exciting angles. The focus point can be adjusted directly on the screen, even when the viewfinder is used.

16mp, ISO 25600 and DFD Autofocus.

16mp without low-pass filter along with a maxiso of 25600 delivers clear images even when the light is pushing. DFD Autofocus is extremely fast at finding focus even when it's dark. With starlight AF, Autofocus also works when it's true, really dark. For portrait photography, the focus is automatically placed on the eyes, something appreciated by portrait photographers.

Quick in several ways.

With regular serial shooting, G80 takes 9 images per second (raw). Should it be faster, it is possible to record 4k still images at 30 frames per second and then select the best image afterwards. PostFocus allows you to adjust focus after image has been taken. 4K photo and PostFocus only works with JPEG.
