It gathers the light from your studio flash into a beam with depth, with shadows that fall away softly instead of breaking off hard. The focusing system that narrows or widens the beam is ordered separately.

BeamA parabolic reflector gathers light differently from a softbox. The 24 arms catch the light from the flash and throw it back in one direction, which keeps depth in the shadows. The deeper the flash sits in the reflector, the tighter and more contrasty the beam becomes.
ExpandingWithout the focusing system the flash sits in a fixed spot in the reflector. To narrow or widen the beam, order the PF M focusing mount and the PF R870 rod alongside it. That combination comes ready assembled in the Zoom Box kit of the same size.
Set upThe reflector opens like an umbrella and folds back into the CB35 carrying bag. The PB G1 grip puts it on a light stand. A safety cord holds the reflector if the mount comes loose.
CompatibilityAdapters exist for the Bowens, Godox, Broncolor and Profoto mounts, plus mounting brackets for the AR400 and the R1200.
