DZOFilm X-Tract 18-28mm T8 FF Probe Zoom Lens

With a field of view of 100 to 73°, the ARRI PL-mount X-Tract 0° 18-28mm T8 FF zoom lens from DZOFilm brings innovative close-up performance to your productions. This compact probe lens measures just 41cm in length and has a front outer diameter of less than 3cm, making it ideal for tight setups. It has a relatively fast T8 maximum aperture, a maximum magnification of 2.1:1 and a minimum focusing distance of 6mm. This straight version offers a direct view; 90° and 360° periscope lens versions are available separately.


Wide 18-28mm zoom

  • This 18-28mm zoom offers an ultra-wide to more mid-range reach and covers the most common focal lengths.

Exemplary for tight spaces

  • Create creative images with a maximum magnification ratio of 2.1:1.
  • The extremely close minimum focusing distance of around 6mm lets you get a super-sharp image of your subject.
  • The large depth of field and wide-angle focal length combine to enable close-ups in tight spaces while keeping a safe distance from your subject.

Low distortion, high resolution optics

  • The optical design features both ED (extra-low dispersion) and high refractive index elements, preventing chromatic and spherical aberrations.
  • Advanced coatings help minimize flare and reflections.
  • Contains seven HRI (high refractive index) lens elements, providing more natural color.
  • ±2% distortion control over the zoom range.

T8 Maximum aperture

  • The relatively fast T8 maximum aperture is maintained throughout the zoom range.

  • Focus, iris and zoom functions all feature 0.8 MOD film-style gears for compatibility with follow focus and lens motor systems.
