With a corresponding focal length of 35mm and a maximum aperture of f / 1.4, this lens fits perfectly in a variety of environments and photo situations. The lens is designed to get the highest possible quality out of Fujifilm's X-transensor and offers fantastic background blur and good results when shooting in low light. The internal focus system of the lens provides a quick autofocus and switching to manual focus is easily done by sliding the focus ring backwards, then a scale is also indicated indicating the depth of field of the lens.
