The Laowa 24mm T14 2x PeriProbe not only inherits all the great features from the 24mm T14 2x Probe lens, a new tube with periscope is now also included. The new 90° Periscope tip unlocks countless new exciting movement. The 85° AoV and a very close 2cm working distance help created the bug-eye perspective. The 2x magnification allows for capturing subjects of different sizes with details. Users could poke the long and waterproof barrel into a tight space and underwater to obtain a unique perspective. The LED Ring Lite provides an extra light source. Users could also switch the 90° periscope back to the 0° straight scope. The lens could rotate 360° along the axis by unlocking the orientation ring. Additional accessories can also be mounted at the tip of the lens through the 1/4 screw hole.

The Laowa 24mm T14 2x Periprobe CINE Lens - in Canon EF mount is a 2X macro probe lens with a new 90° module upgrade, turning the Laowa Probe lens into a Periscope type lens enabling close up / macro shooting around corners and different angles. The 24mm T14 2X Periprobe brings a new shooting possibility to the market. It is widely used in wildlife, table-top shootings, advertisements, and other creative and imaginative applications. Suitable for stills photography although is highly useful in videography work, film, adverts, particularly for creative product promotion and of course small animals, macro and close up work.

Focusgear

This CINE / VIDEO version features follow focus gearing on the focus and aperture rings. Perfect for professional use including close up product advertising, TV adverts, movies, the lens captures perspectives like no other. The lens is able to focus extremely close to the subject - 2 cm at 2x magnification whilst offering wider perspective of 85° creating a ‘Bug-eye perspective’. The Periprobe has a wider perspective than other telephoto macro lenses and the aperture range is from T14 to T40 offering a greater depth of field at close distances which is beneficial when shooting wildlife and in a studio as more information of the background can be included.

360° Rotation

360° Rotation id possible using the clutch mechanism to unlock the orientation ring for adjustment. The Ring is pulled back, and the lens cam be rotated around 360 degrees.

The 1/4-20 screw accessory threaded tip allows for the mounting of accessories like lighting or provides an attachment point for added stability.

Waterproof

The front barrel of the lens is waterproof with a LED ring light mounted at the lens tip. This enables the lens front to be underwater whilst operating the camera out of the water, for shots in pools, streams, tanks, etc opening up a wealth of creative possibilities like no other lens. The long tubular barrel with small lens tip enables getting into tight spaces, and minimises disturbance of the surrounding environment. It also enables to keep a safer distance when photographing certain animals, such as dangerous reptiles, and to enable access into areas that would be inaccessible with standard macro lens kit.

The Laowa 24mm T14 2x Periprobe CINE Lens opens up possibilities unattainable with other lenses with not only animals, but also product photography and videography.
