Dette NiSi Cine Nano IR GND Hard 6x6" 1.2 er et hard-edge graduering neutraldensity-filter designet til at formørke specifikke områder af et billede, mens resten af rammen forbliver upåvirket. Det bruges, når adskillelsen mellem lyse og mørke områder er tydeligt defineret, for eksempel ved en horisontlinje eller grænsen mellem havoverflade og himmel. Filteret er tættest ved kanten og går skarpt over i klart mod midten.
NiSi har optimeret dette filter til brug med digitale sensorer. Hver overflade får et lag af NiSi Optical Nano Coating for at sikre næsten flad dæmpning over synlige og infrarøde bølgelængder. Som følge heraf sigter filteret mod at reducere infrarøde-relaterede farvestik og bevare farvenuancer, hvilket giver renere, mere korrekte sorte toner ved længere eksponeringer.
Filteret er fremstillet af optisk glas for at bevare klarhed og farvenøjagtighed. Det har ridsebestandighed til daglig håndtering og leveres med et etui i læderlook til opbevaring og transport. Filterets tykkelse er 4 mm.
