Fujinon XF 80mm f / 2.8 LM OIS WR Macro is a macro lens for you with high demands. With a 1: 1 magnification scale, the lens is ideal for shooting small objects, insects, flowers and other situations when you want to get really close. The focal length (corresponding to 122mm) together with the brightness and the fast autofocus motor makes it also possible to use for portrait photography and in certain sports contexts.

The lens is constructed with 16 lens elements in 12 groups, including an aspherical lens that minimizes spherical aberration and gives the images high sharpness from the center all the way to the edge. One Super ED and three ED lenses counteract chromatic aberration.

With a macro lens you get the opportunity to get very close to small things and reshape them with a higher magnification than other lenses, which makes it ideal for natural details such as flowers and insects, jewelry and other small objects. The focal length in combination with the brightness and stabilization means that the lens can also act as a portrait lens.

Image stabilization

Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) makes it possible to shoot at freehand with up to 5 steps longer shutter speed than would otherwise be possible, which means that you often do not have to carry a tripod.

Weatherproof with fluorite coating

FUJINON XF80mmF2.8 LM OIS WR Macro is robustly built and designed for extensive outdoor use, even in bad weather conditions and temperatures down to -10 degrees. The lens is fitted with 11 rubber seals on to eliminate moisture and dust and the front lens has fluorite coating that repels raindrops, dirt and grease.

Linear autofocus motor

The autofocus is powered by Fujifilm's fast and quiet linear motor (Linear Motor, LM) and the wide focus ring also makes it easy to adjust the focus manually. There is also a control with three modes for selecting the focus area; 0.25 m - infinite (full focus area); 0.5 m - endless and 0.25 m - 0.5 m.

Internal Focusing

To avoid the lens resizing when focusing and ensuring the highest possible image quality at all distances, from infinite to close range (25 cm), the lens has internal focusing and an optical design with so-called floating lens elements. Two lens groups, one front and one rear, can move independently as the focus distance changes.

Works with teleconverter

The lens is also great for combining with Fujifilm's XF 2X TC WR and XF 1.4X TC WR teleconverters to increase the focal length further.
