The CRANE 3S PRO from Zhiyun-Tech is a complete rebuild of previous Zhiyun gimbals with the addition of detachable handle options, a large maximum load of 6.5kg, an updated shoulder lock system, external dc out and ViaTouch 2.0 motion control system. CRANE 3S PRO also has many advanced features such as wireless video transmission, and it can stabilize loads up to 6.5kg. It can also accommodate a large number of camera sizes by using a separately available extension module to extend the horizontal arm which is now positioned at a 55 ° angle.

The 3S PRO has two options for the detachable, angled handle. The included SmartSling offers an ergonomic handle with integrated joystick and control buttons, and the EasySling handle (optional) provides a simple, comfortable handle without controls. The handle allows you to easily switch to underwater mode, whether you have one or two hands, and achieves creative images such as 330 ° scroll shot as you move closer to a subject. All the controls you need are provided on hand at the top of the main handle along with an OLED status screen. The free Zhiyun iOS / Android app offers many of the same control features as well as special features like panorama, timed focus, elapsed motion time, long exposure timed, camera settings and more.

You can run the 3S PRO with an internal battery, but if you need extra shooting time, a DC port allows you to connect an optional battery pack such as the Transmount PowerPlus that contains six 18650 batteries. CRANE 3S PRO can be controlled using the updated ViaTouch 2.0 iOS or Android smartphone app via Bluetooth 5.0 for remote control and to manage gimbal settings.

Nine mounting threads for accessories are available around the gimbal to add a variety of Transmount or third-party accessories. Another important feature of the gimbal is a redesigned axle lock system that consists of a separate lock on each shaft that provides fixed locking in place without excessive pivoting. This feature allows you to lock the individual shoulders to remember your balance positions when you turn off the gimbal so that you do not have to rebalance for each use.
Note:
The CRANE 3S PRO does not support many third-party 18650 batteries as it requires the slightly shorter type made by Zhiyun-Tech, so only Zhiyun-Tech 18650 batteries are recommended.

Aircraft engines

CRANE 3S PRO has more powerful engines and a different design from CRANE 3 LAB and achieves a larger load capacity of 14.3 pounds.

Barrier design

The CRANE 3S PRO is designed with a locking latch next to each shaft to save balance positions when you turn off the gimbal for storage or battery replacement. When it is restarted, the gimbal returns to the balance positions. That way, you do not have to balance it every time you turn it on.

ViaTouch Control System

The ViaTouch 2.0 control system consists of a variety of controls that come up on the Zhiyun app and enable image framing, control of certain gimbal movements and adjustment of camera settings.
