Edelkrone Slide Module V2

The Edelkrone Slide Module v2 is a compact add-on accessory that turns the edelkrone SliderPLUS into a motorized slider. v2 has been updated with a quiet stepper motor and with backlash-free gears that allow for smoother and more stable repeatable movements. It attaches neatly to the end of the slider and allows for programmable, motorized movement capability. The Slide Module v2 and SliderPLUS sync with the intuitive edelkrone iOS/Android app, and the app allows you to assign different standard and motion time-lapse automated slides. The app also has special features that allow you to bend the speed of time and the speed of camera movements independently of each other.

Slide Module v2 is compatible with all 3rd and 4th generation SliderPLUS models, including SliderPLUS Small, SliderPLUS PRO, SliderPLUS M and SliderPLUS X. See full compatibility information in the Features section below. Slide Module v2 also supports HeadPLUS to track stationary objects when used with the slider. Synchronized with Slide Module v2 and SliderPLUS, HeadPLUS (with a laser module installed) can achieve automated smart tracking after some position programming has been done in the app. Similarly, HeadONE (single and dual versions) is supported for motorized pan and tilt movements.

The updated motor operates quietly thanks to its ultra-quiet stepper motor technology, which combines precision stepper motor positioning capabilities with silent operation. This is a great aspect of the Slide Module because although stepper motors are known for their precision, they are also known to make noise, and edelkrone has managed to get rid of the noise. Non-slip gears are also known for their precision. The new v2 backlash-free gears have a heavy-duty design, which ensures a longer service life.

With the Slide Module v2 connected to your SliderPLUS, you can still use the slider manually if you wish, and the motor will not be damaged in any way. The Slide Module v2 drives the SliderPLUS in horizontal slides only.

The Slide Module v2 can be battery powered or powered via an AC adapter. All electrical accessories are sold separately. Slide Module v2 supports two LP-E6 or two L-series batteries via an additional battery box installed directly on top.

The Slide Module v2 is compatible with all 3rd, 4th and 5th generation SliderPLUS models and also supports HeadPLUS for smart tracking when used with the slider. Earlier SliderPLUS models (those with black rails) are not compatible. The following SliderPLUS models are all supported:
