AsteraBox CRMX is the interface between lights and controller. It can be used as a wireless DMX transmitter with CRMX technology and also works as interface between app and lights. Its built-in battery enables an easy and time-saving setup, just like with all of Astera’s products.

AsteraBox CRMX transmitter box picks up the Bluetooth signal from your smartphone's AsteraApp and then sends RF signals to the battery-powered light. With the app, you can create complex colors, effects and settings that consist of the lights even if the wireless link is broken.

Monitoring works while controlling lights with the app and even if the lights are controlled via DMX. Set DMX addresses and profiles for one or more lamps. Fifty units can be prepared in less than five minutes. After work, a quick main reset of all settings and lights prepares them for the next event.

AsteraBox works as a 24 GHz DMX wireless transmitter; just connect it with the supplied XLR adapter to your DMX console and you can transfer a DMX universe using the stable LumenRadio CRMX wireless protocol. The DMX module in Astera battery-powered PAR is compatible with CRMX and other wireless DMX standards, with possible exceptions from the W-DMX G5 and City Theatrical.

Simple commands such as on / off, colors, pre-installed effects, etc. can also be sent directly to the lamps with Astera's infrared remote control. When programming lamps with AsteraApp, the IR remote control can be used to confirm settings on individual lamps. AsteraBox CRMX has fantastic monitoring capabilities that make it possible to monitor battery status, radio signal, DMX address and which lights you have targeted, diagnose individual lights and even be informed if a light is moved or turned off.

Lamp control

Create complex applications with colors, effects and settings. The lights will remember and repeat these effects without the need for a constant wireless link. Quickly create groups of lights, assign positions and choose which lights will receive commands.

Monitor Lamps

Keep a complete overview of the status and all settings of your lamps while using them. View battery status, radio signal, DMX address and which lights you have targeted, diagnose individual lights and even be informed if a light is moved or turned off. This works while controlling lights with the app or via DMX.

LumenRadio

AsteraBox works as a 2.4 GHz DMX wireless transmitter. Connect it with the included XLR adapter to your DMX console and you can transfer a DMX universe with LumenRadio CRMX technology.

Compatibility

The DMX module in all Astera battery-powered PARs is compatible with CRMX and other DMX wireless standards, but not with the W-DMX G5 and City Theatrical.
