The Atlas LF Extender allows Orion Series lenses to provide edge to edge coverage on larger than S35 formats

Including ARRI LF, Sony VENICE, RED Monstro and other full-frame, Vistavision, and large-format camera sensors.

MODERN CONVENIENCES
The LF Extender is optimized to give superior optical performance with our lenses even wide open, with only 1.3 stop light loss. We include a handy check gauge with each extender to help you ensure the rear element/cone of the lens will not interfere with the extender optics.

If used with 35mm format (non FF/LF sensor), it extends your lenses by 1.6x (100 becomes 160, 80 becomes 127, etc.)

Compatibility

To confirm whether our LF Extender is compatible with your lens, use this Atlas printable clearance check gauge. If your lens' rear element clears the gauge, your lens should work with our LF Extender. However, physical fitment does not guarantee perfect optical performance, which is dependent on the optical design of your lens.

Equivalent Focal Lengths

When using the LF Extender with our Orion Series:

• Orion 21mm + 1.6x extender = ~34mm
• Orion 25mm + 1.6x extender = ~40mm
• Orion 32mm + 1.6x extender = ~51mm
• Orion 40mm + 1.6x extender = ~64mm
• Orion 50mm + 1.6x extender = ~80mm
• Orion 65mm + 1.6x extender = ~104mm
• Orion 80mm + 1.6x extender = ~128mm
• Orion 100mm + 1.6x extender = ~160mm
