Leica DG Vario-Summilux 25-50mm f/1.7 ASPH is built with 16 lens elements in 11 groups, to reduce spherical and chromatic aberration, one of the lens elements is aspherical and three of the lens elements are ED (extra-low dispersion). The optical design and use of aspherical elements give Panasonic the ability to manufacture lenses that are compact and lightweight that provide outstanding image quality.
