Blackmagic Design Web Presenter Videocard for SDI and HDMI
Web Presenter allows you to record an SDI or HDMI signal to your computer via USB 2.0. The device appears in the computer as a webcam, which means it works with programs that can display a USB webcam.
For Web Presenter, you can connect a 12G SDI and an HDMI 2.0 source in resolutions up to 2160p60. The signal is converted to 720p and then sent to the computer via USB. The number of frames per second is automatically adjusted to match your computer's performance.
Program
Any program that normally shows a USB webcam can view the signal from Web Presenter. This allows it to be used with applications such as Skype, YouTube Live, Facebook Live.
Audio Inputs
The sound can be recorded via embedded audio into the SDI or HDMI signal or via one of the analog audio inputs. The device has an XLR connector for microphone or line signal and two RCA connectors that allow you to connect, for example, a portable audio player.
Smart Panel
The Teranex Smart Panel buttons (purchased separately) allow you to switch between SDI and HDMI inputs. You can connect a computer via HDMI and a video camera via SDI and switch between them with nice transitions between the pictures.
