4K video at up to 60fps

Make your drone movie really soft by being able to shoot at up to 60 frames per second. Together with the flat color profile "D-Cinelike" you capture a larger dynamic range which you then have greater opportunities with in your editing. All this gives you a very cinematic drone film for your next project. Remember to supplement with an ND filter to keep shutter speeds down, so you maintain the softness and blur of the film that gives that extra little touch. For Mavic Air 2 there are two filter sets from DJI - one is ND 16/64/256 which fits very bright environments, and the other ND 4/8/32 which fits more normal lighting conditions. Mavic Air 2 records video in the efficient video codec H.265, so you can capture higher quality video that takes up less space on the memory card.

HDR video

To get as much detail into your videos as possible, Mavic Air 2 supports HDR video. This allows you to capture bright skies and dark shadows at the same time. Mavic Air 2 has a Quad Bayer image sensor that stacks the images on each other to produce video with a higher dynamic range.

RAW 48mpix images

Mavic Air 2 captures RAW images in DNG format in high resolution 48mpix through its 1/2 "sensor. Produce images with great possibilities in post-editing through the RAW format and give yourself the opportunity to crop the image but maintain sharpness.

Capture cinematic clips

Having FocusTrack, ActiveTrack 3.0, Spotlight 2.0 and POI 3.0 is like having a whole production team in your hand. With ActiveTrack 3.0 you follow your object, while obstacles are avoided in a softer way than before. This gives your object 100% focus - even when temporarily moving behind eg. a tree. Spotlight lets you concentrate on the flight - choose what Mavic Air 2 will track and it does the rest. QuickShots lets you create fast, cinematic clips for social media. With a few quick clicks, Mavic Air 2 creates an advanced flight route to create a clip with professional feel. Add music, effects and filters with presets and share directly from your smartphone.

Safer flight with OcuSync 2.0 & APAS 3.0

Through OcuSync 2.0, Mavic Air 2 has a new impressive range compared to its predecessors. The drone sends video signal in 1080p at a full 10 km distance. This allows you to explore larger areas with your drone. Mavic Air 2 senses its reversal in three directions; forward, backward and downward through their sensors. With APAS (Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems) 3.0, the drone is mapping obstacles in its environment to be able to make soft and reliable corrections.

Improved battery life & new hand control

Mavic Air 2 has an impressive battery life of 34 minutes, so you can capture more of what you see without having to change the battery as often. The controller has a new design and has a battery life of 240 minutes. With a more comfortable grip, a new smartphone mount and integrated antennas, it is a perfect complement to your drone.
