The XPRO 4-Section Video Monopod is a professional fully liquid-damped monopod made to satisfy videographers who want to take advantage of the height of their tripod, and reach above the crowd. As well as to achieve a variety of photo angles. This state-of-the-art Manfrotto tripod has inherited the perfect combination of rigidity and secure leg locks from the professional 190 and 055 tripods.



It is equipped with Manfrotto's fluid damped base (MVMXPROBASE) with the innovative FLUIDTECH system, which makes the Manfrotto XPRO Monopod + the first of its kind on the market with 3D fluidity. The FLUIDTECH tripod base enables the ultimate smooth shooting with pan, tilt and swivel for more new perspectives. The three retractable feet make it extremely portable when folded, and the monopod can be easily transported anywhere.

The new aluminum D-shaped tubes greatly improve anti-rotation resistance through the tripod, following the videographer's fast rotational movements. In combination with Quick Power Lock (QPL) which strongly locks the knob on the flat side of the tripod tube, unwanted jerky movements are eliminated. The newly designed leg warmer guarantees exceptional grip and full film control with a special version of the successful Manfrotto 500 video head.

The MVMXPRO500 utilizes the MVH500A head's powerful counterweight system to handle heavier equipment such as cameras with interchangeable lenses, with a wider platform to support HDSLR bodies. It's extra light and compact, so you won't even notice it's in your photo bag, but you can always count on it supporting up to an impressive 8kg. The camera quickly clicks into slot from above thanks to the side locking system (rather than being pushed in at the back) and it is so secure that there is no need for a secondary lock.
