The sony extension Unit for PXW-FX9, which gives the camera more connection options, including network socket (LAN), the possibility of using V-Lock batteries, the possibility of connection via mobile network and the possibility of 16-bit RAW format for external recording.

Connects directly to the camera

The device connects directly to the camera, without the need for cabling, and provides convenient additional features to improve handling and flexibility in the camera.

V-Lock battery

XDCA-FX9 enables easy installation of V-Lock / V-mount batteries, such as Sony's BP-GL and BP-FL batteries, enabling extended operating time during long shots and work shifts.

Easy installation

The device mounts quickly and easily to the back of the camera via a multi-connector and provides advanced networking features for streaming or file transfer via Ethernet or dual-link mobile connection. It also makes it easy to add high quality wireless audio via connecting a separate receiver (microphone receiver not included).

Additional output contacts including time code and D-tap are also available.

Recording in 16-bit RAW format

With the help of XDCA-FX9 and an external video recorder, you can save movies in 16-bit RAW format for the very best quality and flexibility in color grading and other post-editing.
