SmallHD 503 UltraBright On-Camera Monitor

SmallHD 503 is a bright monitor made of aluminum, which means that it can withstand tough grips. The brightness is 2500 nits and the screen has a contrast of 1200: 1.
The front glass is optically joined to the screen panel, which provides a high viewing angle of 178 degrees. The front glass is of the Gorilla glass type, which makes it durable against, for example, scratches. There are two 1/4 inch threads, which means that the screen can be mounted in many different ways using an articulated arm or stand.

Software

Several functions are available for analysis of the image signal. Some of them are Anamorphic De-Squeeze, Image Rotate / flip, focus peaking, False Color, zebra, waveform, vectorscope, RGB parade, and histogram.

Cross conversion

The device can convert between HDMI and SDI or vice versa. Adds but on a LUT this can be applied to the converted output signal.

Power supply

The unit has a 2-pin LEMO connection and can be powered either by an AC adapter, D-tap cable or battery plate (purchased separately).

SD card slot

The SD card slot allows you to manage LUTs, saved images, update firmware and save profiles for settings
