Tilta ES-T18-V Overview

Add a cage, additional accessories, and a V-mount battery plate to your Sony PXW-FX9 camera with this Camera Cage with Battery Plate from Tilta. This modular aluminum and steel cage includes a bottom VCT-U14 baseplate, a V-mount battery plate, a lens adapter, 15mm LWS rod clamps, a top plate, and a side plate.

The battery plate installs onto the back of your camera and allows you to power the camera and accessories using a V-mount battery. The plate also allows you to power accessories using its three D-Tap outputs and two 14.8V 2-pin LEMO-type outputs. A proprietary port on the bottom allows you to add optional power output modules to add even more power output options. The plate can be adjusted with a bracket back and forth from the back of the camera to help balance your camera on your shoulder.

The VCT-U14 baseplate features an ergonomic shoulder pad and 15mm LWS rod clamps on the front and back. Standard ARRI-style rosettes on the sides allow you to install extension arms or additional handgrips, and an integrated, adjustable lens support on the front allows you to support longer, heavier lenses. The baseplate also features a quick release plate on the bottom that provides 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tripod mounting threads, and it can be interchanged with other Tilta quick release plates.

The top plate installs on the top of the camera, leaving the camera's original handle intact. It features a 15mm rod clamp on top to add additional accessories. The side plate connects the top plate with the baseplate, and both the top and side plates offer multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ARRI-style anti-twist threads to add additional accessories.
