Ninja V Pro Kit has been designed to bridge the gap between cine-, video- and mirrorless system cameras that can output RAW via HDMI or SDI. The Atomos Ninja V Pro Kit also pushes the boundaries of these cameras and records up to 12-bit RAW externally on Ninja's built-in SSD. Atomos Ninja V Pro Kit also provides the ability to cross hidden signals that provide a versatile solution for monitoring and recording your material.

Atomos Ninja V Pro Kit

Ninja V monitor recorder is a flexible tool that can act as an HDMI / SDI ProRes monitor recorder. Along with efficient energy management, the Pro Kit is designed to be powered via D-Tap from your camera battery or rig. The Atomos Ninja V Pro Kit also includes an AtomX 5 ”Sunhood that facilitates outdoor work.

Compact size

The compact screen of 5 inches with a thickness of 2.5cm and a weight of about 360g means that Ninja V Pro kit fits perfectly on system cameras where you want to keep low weight and small size while you want the opportunity to record in higher quality and get a better monitor than the one mounted on the camera by default. Because Ninja V can mount in a flash shoe or directly on a cage and connect via HDMI, you can get a better and more ergonomic screen placement.

HDR

With a dynamic range of 10+ steps directly from Log / PQ / HLG signals, you can clearly see the exposure of the recording. Ninja V can also record 4K60p or HD240p in 60-240hz HDR games from Xbox or playstation, directly to SSDs.

ProRes RAW

Apple ProRes RAW is ideal for recording HDR for use in Final Cut Pro X. With ProRes RAW, you can import, adjust, and grade files with RAW data directly from the camera's sensor.

Audio via HDMI

Ninja V records the audio via HDMI and delivers it via a 3.5mm headphone jack, which allows you to listen in from the camera's video file, even if the camera does not have a headphone output.

Pre-roll

With pre-roll you can use Ninja V with End-Trigger function. When you press record, Nina V has already captured a few seconds of movie.

Hard drive storage

Like previous Atomos recorders, Ninja V records on 2.5” SSD/HDD disks. Ninja V also supports AtomX SSDmini which is a smaller and neater hard drive.

Note that hard drives are not included and that you need Atomos Docking Station when you want to connect the disk and transfer the files to your computer!
