Fast series photography and image processor
The enhanced image editing system allows you to shoot at full resolution at up to 10 frames per second with continuous auto focus in up to 177 JPEG (standard), 89 compressed or 40 uncompressed RAW images.
Meanwhile, as a larger image is saved to the memory card, you still have access to several of the camera's features such as the Fn button, menus, slide show and rating of images.
EyeAF - Eyes auto focus
Eye AF or Eye Auto Focus helps keep the subject eye focused even if the subject moves. The function is now also available in AF-C mode and with LA-EA3 adapter and Sony A lens.
HDR video in 4K resolution
Video feature uses the full-screen sensor width and allows you to record 4K video at the resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. The camera is equipped with S-Log2, S-Log3, Zebra function, Gamma Display Assist and proxy recording. NP-FZ100 High Capacity Battery
The A7 III is equipped with Sony's new NP-FZ100 battery, also available in models A7R III and A9. The new battery provides approximately 2.2 times more pictures than the NP-FW50 that was found in the A7 II.
