The 1TB AVpro XT SATA III 2.5" Internal SSD from Angelbird is a 2.5" internal solid-state drive that has a capacity of 1TB and fits into the 7mm drive bay of your compatible system. It is certified for use with Atmos and Blackmagic Design products and provides sustained read speeds of up to 550 MB/s, sustained write speeds of up to 505 MB/s, up to 86,000 IOPS, and uses Grade A Synchronous MLC. In addition to its audio/video use, this SSD may be used to store and quickly access files such as music, movies, photos, documents, and more.
With solid-state drive technology, you benefit from load and access times for your files and programs that are faster than a conventional 7200 rpm hard drive. As SSDs have no moving parts, they are also more durable than traditional hard drives and are better protected against damage from drops and bumps. Having no moving parts also means that SSDs receive less wear and tear, as there are no read or write heads for the drive media to come into contact with.
The 1TB AVpro XT SATA III 2.5" Internal SSD features a SATA III 6 Gb/s interface that will also work when connected to SATA II 3 Gb/s and SATA 1.5 Gb/s interfaces. It has also been built with an MTBF of 1.5 million hours, EDC/ECC data reliability, 10 years of data retention at 77°F, and an endurance rating of up to 240 TBW. It is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems and protection is provided by a limited 3-year warranty.
