Content creators of all experience levels can elevate the production values of their videos, interviews, and streaming with DJI Mic 2, an easy-to-use, truly wireless digital microphone system that offers live sound quality while providing all the elements needed to capture audio for a camera or iOS/Android smartphone. The system records clear and reliable audio at up to 250m via a miniature omnidirectional microphone/transmitter, which acts as a backup recorder for worry-free wireless recording. The small receiver can either be mounted on a DSLR camera or connected directly to the Lightning/USB port of a smartphone or laptop.

Second Generation Updates

The new version of the Mic 2 features an updated transmitter unit with 2.4 GHz digital wireless and Bluetooth technology. Bluetooth allows you to connect the transmitter to your DJI Mimo app via iOS or Android device. You can even connect directly to your Osmo Pocket 3 or Osmo Action 4 camera. Toggle different settings via the Mimo app such as intelligent noise reduction, which reduces ambient noise for improved voice capture or 32-bit float recording.

Wearable and Portable Microphones

• For a truly wireless experience, you can easily attach the transmitter to whatever you're wearing via the integrated clip (or by using the clip magnet) without having to wire yourself or your talent.
• You can also hold the transmitter in your hand and use it as a handheld microphone. Use the transmitter as a lavalier microphone (no need for a separate microphone), or use it as a traditional bodypack transmitter by plugging in an external lavalier microphone (sold separately).
• The built-in microphone has an omnidirectional pickup pattern that ensures reliable speech recording, even if the microphone placement is less than ideal; your subject's voice is captured with clarity and consistency.
• A windscreen is provided to effectively dampen wind noise while still recording clear audio.

High-quality sound with flexibility for post-production

• DJI Mic 2 allows you to record high quality professional audio by accurately reproducing the tone over a wide frequency range. To ensure you capture a clean signal, you can monitor your audio via the receiver's 3.5mm headphone output during recording.
• The safety track mode allows you to record a secondary audio track (in mono) as a backup with a lower volume of -6 dB (unlike the main audio track), helping to protect your sound in case of unexpected level increases.

Built-in Recorder and Safety Track

• The transmitter has built-in recording capability with 8 GB of storage space for up to 14 hours of 48 kHz 24-bit backup recording. This allows you to record audio directly to the transmitter as a backup in case of wireless interference and outages.
• The files are in 48 kHz/24-bit mono WAV format and can be transferred to your computer via the USB-C cable. Switch to 32-bit float recording via the Mimo app.

• The system avoids interference from TV and radio waves by operating in the 2.4 GHz frequency band, which occupies frequencies beyond TV, radio broadcasts and UHF wireless microphone systems.

Easy to use

• The receiver has both a built-in extended OLED touchscreen and built-in dial for easy configuration.
• View and adjust volume, gain and channels to find the perfect settings for your environment. Battery life, recording status and wireless signal strength are also displayed.
• An internal motor sends clear haptic feedback during key operations such as turning on or off, internal recording, silencing and muting, and enabling or disabling noise reduction.

Highly compatible

If you want to use the DJI Mic 2 with a smartphone, simply insert either the Lightning or USB-C adapter into the expansion port at the bottom of the receiver, connect it to your phone and start recording. These adapters support stereo audio playback without having to unplug the receiver. Use the 3.5mm TRS cable to connect the camera's 3.5mm microphone connector to the receiver's 3.5mm audio output and start recording on your camera. The 3.5mm adapter supports automatic on and off in sync with the power status of your camera.
