DJI Mic Mini
With an ultra-compact form factor and broad device compatibility, the DJI Mic Mini is designed to help content creators record enhanced audio in their next vlog, livestream or social media video. The system can communicate with your DSLR/mirrorless camera or iOS/Android smartphone via wired or wireless connection. It can record clear and reliable audio from an extended distance of 400m via an omnidirectional microphone/transmitter with clip-on mount. The small receiver can be mounted on your camera or connected directly to the USB port of a smartphone or laptop using the USB-C port or a separately available cell phone adapter.Wired and wireless connectivity
Like the Mic 2, the Mic Mini features both 2.4 GHz digital wireless and Bluetooth technology. Bluetooth allows you to connect the transmitters to your DJI Mimo app via iOS or Android device. You can even connect directly to your Osmo Pocket 3, Osmo Action 4 or Osmo Action 5 Pro camera. Toggle various settings via the Mimo app like noise reduction and sound limiting. Both 3.5mm TRS and USB-C connectors are available on the receiver unit for connecting to a wide range of devices. An included 3.5mm TRS audio cable facilitates camera connection and synchronizes the receiver's power with the camera. When connected to your mobile device via USB-C, both the receiver and your smartphone can be charged simultaneously and clips can be reviewed with external playback.Wireless drone recording
The Mic Mini is also wirelessly compatible with the DJI Neo drone using the DJI Fly app. Connect the Mic Mini to your smartphone's Bluetooth and open the DJI Fly app for audio recording. The app also automatically eliminates propeller noise and merges the recorded audio with your footage.Portable and wearable microphones
- For a truly wireless experience, conveniently attach the transmitter to whatever you're wearing via the rear clip without having to wire yourself or your talent. Other carrying options include magnetic mount and lanyard with separately available accessories.
- The transmitter weighs only 28g, ensuring it doesn't weigh down the collar or fold outwards for an appealing on-camera look.
- The built-in microphone has an omnidirectional pickup pattern that ensures reliable speech pickup, even if microphone placement is less than ideal; your subject's voice is captured with clarity, intelligibility and consistency.
- Windshields are included to effectively dampen wind noise while recording clear audio.
Intuitive controls
- Use the built-in transmitter controls to switch between the two levels of noise reduction. Basic level is ideal for quiet indoor environments, reducing noise from fans, air conditioning units and other reverb sounds while preserving the voice. Strong level is ideal for noisy environments and reduces ambient noise for clearer voice pickup.
- Activate automatic limiting to lower the volume of your audio input, preventing distortion and ensuring reliable sound quality. This eliminates the need to adjust settings on the fly.
- You can quickly adjust five levels of gain using the knob on the receiver unit.
- Safety track recording is available when you anticipate possible interference. The safety track is also 6 dB lower to ensure you have usable audio in fluctuating environments.
