The Zoom iQ6 is a compact and high-quality stereo XY microphone designed for iPhone and other iOS devices with Lightning connectivity. With two matched directional condenser microphones in X/Y configuration, the iQ6 turns your phone into a portable high-resolution audio recorder - perfect for concerts, interviews, meetings, lectures and field recording.
The iQ6 uses two unidirectional condenser microphones positioned at 90° or 120° to create a wide and natural stereo image. The result is an immersive and detailed sound field that captures every nuance with impressive clarity.
With support for recording up to 48 kHz / 16-bit and a maximum sound pressure level of 130 dB SPL, the iQ6 can handle even noisy environments such as live concerts and events without compromising on sound quality.
The large analog MIC GAIN knob makes it easy to adjust the recording level in real time. A 3-stage LED meter provides clear visual feedback to avoid overdriving and ensure optimal recording every time.
The extended Lightning connector and included removable spacer allow the microphone to work with most shells. The dedicated 3.5 mm output serves as both a headphone output and line out for direct monitoring.
Together with Zoom's free Handy Recorder app, you get access to on-screen level metering, automatic recording, PCM/AAC selection, and editing features right in your iOS device.
