ATOMOS CONNECT is the ultimate accessory for NINJA V/V+ and represents a revolutionary shift in how we create devices for monitoring and recording. ATOMOS CONNECT fits into the rear of the NINJA V/V+ and features a 12G SDI input, ATOMOS AirGlu™ for wireless time-coding synchronization, multiple power supply variants to accommodate a multitude of on-site scenarios, plus Wi-Fi 6, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth LE and USB-C to have flexible connectivity. When connected to NINJA V/V+, ATOMOS CONNECT turns professional cine cameras, mirrorless cameras and system cameras into fully connected devices supporting a variety of advanced cloud-based workflows.

With the ATOMOS CONNECT accessory, the NINJA V/V+ can live stream to several different online services, including Facebook Live, Twitch and YouTube. With Wi-Fi 6, Gigabit Ethernet and the ability to connect to mobile hotspots, all built in, ATOMOS CONNECT can help filmmakers, streamers and content creators reach their audience from anywhere.

Collaboration for allATOMOS CONNECT is a device fully integrated with Frame.io Camera to Could (C2C). With support for HDMI- and SDI-equipped cameras, the device can provide advanced online workflows and remote collaborations to many more filmmakers, streamers and video content creators. With Frame.io for Adobe Creative Cloud, now part of the Creative Cloud subscription, even more filmmakers can have access to cloud-based workflows.

Dual recording

Frame.io C2C brings the domains of production and post-production closer together and enables teams to collaborate remotely in new ways. The dual recording function on ATOMOS CONNECT to NINJA V+/V+ creates “hero” files in Apple ProRes, Avid DNxHR/HD (or Apple ProRes RAW on NINJA V+ – coming in the future) and “proxy” HEVC files (H.265) with matching timecode and metadata. The proxy files can also be uploaded during recording using ATOMOS's progressive transfer technology, so that the proxy clip is available in the cloud as soon as the recording ends.

Bring your own camera

The built-in SDI and HDMI interfaces mean that ATOMOS CONNECT supports most professional cine cameras, system cameras and mirrorless cameras. The device also comes with ATOMOS AirGlu™ wireless synchronization technology, which enables direct long-distance communication between devices and provides a robust lock for the timecodes.

CONNECT to the world

ATOMOS CONNECT enables filmmakers, streamers and video content creators of all kinds to share their work with audiences everywhere, easily and seamlessly. ATOMOS CONNECT gives customers the freedom to work with their preferred camera and connection. And regardless of which camera the customer uses, he can create a unified system that supports a synchronized time code lock for all connected devices.

ATOMOS Cloud Studio

ATOMOS Cloud Studio is a collection of video production services developed in collaboration with MAVIS, and represents a radical invention for all video creators, streamers and filmmakers. Released in June 2022, Cloud Studio features three new cloud-based services for live and direct video production. ATOMOS Live Production is a fully featured cloud-based multi-camera control room for live events. ATOMOS Capture to Cloud uploads the files devices connected to the ATOMOS network to cloud-based platforms, including Frame.io C2C. ATOMOS Stream uses any device connected to the ATOMOS network to live stream to popular platforms such as Facebook Live, Twitch, YouTube and more.
