Prism 877 is an ultra flexible H.264/HEVC encoder/decoder solution for enterprise, broadcast, live production, and public safety applications. Prism can encode or decode up to 4KDCIp60 video with stunning 10-bit 4:2:2 image fidelity. Boasting 512GB of onboard NVME, Prism allows a new level of recording management with built in camera to cloud capabilities. Prism 877 cards can be both an encoder or decoder through a software switch and the encoder side supports the decode license expanding density.

Prism Cards can be configured as an encoder or decoder as

Hardware Overview
Prism Rack is available in two configurations: a 1U for 3 cards, and a
2U for 9 cards. Both systems include dual gigabit Ethernet ports with
network bonding, and the 2U model offers an optional redundant
power supply to support 24/7 mission- critical workflows.

Ultra Low Latency
Streaming
Teradek Reliable Transport (TRT) represents a groundbreaking
advancement in streaming video transport over local (LAN) and
wide area networks (WAN). Designed for resilience and ultra-low
latency, TRT can deliver audio and video over single and bonded
networks with a round trip time (RTT) of just 100 ms and 250 ms
respectively. TRT is available on all Prism devices and is the ideal
transport protocol for real-time point-to-point and multipoint
streaming in live production environments.
