The Core KIT is designed for handheld shooting and includes accessories that optimize the VISTA for agile and lightweight use—side handle, batteries, storage, and camera strap. The Pro KIT is designed for more extensive production setups with a full cage, an active top handle, and dual storage drives for A/B recording. The Core KIT is perfect for documentaries and run-and-gun productions, while the Pro KIT is better suited for larger team productions.

How long do the batteries in the Core KIT last under normal use?

With two GripBAT 2Si batteries, each with a capacity of 3,500 mAh, you’ll have enough power for an entire production day (approximately 6–8 hours) with both the camera and accessories. The batteries have 75% more capacity than standard NP-F batteries, giving you longer runtime and fewer battery changes during filming.

Can I use my own CFexpress card with the Core KIT?

Yes, VISTA is compatible with CFexpress Type B cards from various manufacturers. However, we recommend KineMAG CFe for best performance and reliability, especially during high-resolution ProRes and H.265 recording. The included card reader works with all CFexpress Type B cards.

Is the side handle comfortable for left-handed users?

The VISTA Side Handle is designed for right-handed use, but can be mounted on the left side of the camera for left-handed filmmakers. The handle’s ergonomic design and textured surface provide a comfortable grip regardless of which hand you use.
