Seeing significant improvements on all levels, the DJI Avata 2 FPV Drone continues to give beginners and experienced pilots a frictionless entry into FPV flight and immersive content creation. The compact drone is designed to fly quickly at low altitudes and through tight spaces. This type of movement is further enhanced with the new addition of one-button acrobatic maneuvers. When flying, the gimbal can capture crisp 12MP still images and vibrant 4K HDR videos from normal to 155° ultra-wide fields of view. To do this safely, DJI equipped the Avata 2 with an integrated support guard and a new visual positioning system.

3-Battery Fly More Combo

This version of the Avata 2 comes with a Fly More Combo, a selection of essential and creative accessories with three intelligent flight batteries for longer flight sessions. The combo includes the DJI Goggles 3 and accessories, the DJI RC Motion 3 controller and accessories, a 2-way charging hub, a carrying case, and the standard items included with the Avata 2. The Goggles 3 and RC Motion 3 combine to provide a true first-person experience. The headset has built-in micro-OLED displays that receive a live video feed from the Avata 2 from up to 21km away. This view makes it feel like you're in a virtual cockpit, seeing what the drone sees in 1080p resolution at a steady 100 fps. While watching the feed, you can use RC Motion 3 to independently control the Avata 2 with hand and wrist gestures, along with an intuitive control layout. Other features include an entrycks dehumidification function to deal with adverse weather conditions, and Real View PiP, which embeds a picture-in-picture display to make you aware of your surroundings without having to remove the headset.

DJI RC Motion 3

This Fly More Combo version of the DJI Avata 2 includes the DJI RC Motion 3 controller, a one-handed controller that works with the Goggles 3 to give you an intuitive and realistic flight experience. Unlike traditional controllers, RC Motion 3 controls the drone with simple hand and wrist movements. These gestures control not only the Avata 2 but also the Goggles 3 menu system. By placing an AR cursor over the menu, you can easily highlight, select and adjust camera settings and other functions.

Professional image processing

With a 1/1.3-inch image sensor, the Avata 2 offers efficient low-light performance, capturing still images at up to 12 MP and videos at up to 4K HDR resolution. Choose from three different fields of view to suit your project's style: normal angle, wide angle and 155° ultra wide angle. Professionals will enjoy 10-bit D-Log M support, which retains more highlights and details to provide more flexibility when it comes time to edit and color grading.

Stabilized Film

Steady footage from a fast-paced FPV drone like the Avata 2 can be nearly impossible to achieve, which is why DJI has the RockSteady and HorizonSteady features. RockSteady is designed for pure stabilization to compensate for high speeds and windy conditions. HorizonSteady is a more specific stabilization by locking to the horizon during horizontal rotation up to 360°.

O4 Long-range transmission

Control the drone and watch a video feed from further away with this second-generation Avata. Using the DJI O4 transmission system, the Avata 2 can transmit signals up to 21km away. Video feeds have resolutions of up to 1080p/100, along with a bit rate of up to 60 Mb/s and a response time as low as 24 ms. To achieve such range, the Avata 2 has been upgraded with a 2T4R (2-transmitter/4-receiver) configuration that uses a 4-antenna array and strong anti-interference performance.

Safer Flying

Upgrading from the only downward-facing sensor in Avata, Avata 2 now features binocular fisheye sensors for downward and backward visual positioning. Additional safety features include an integrated propeller guard and automatic "return to home" features triggered by a loss of signal or low battery.

One-button acrobatics

Get creative with your aerial shots by using the Avata 2's one-button acrobatic features to easily perform complex stunts.

• Flip: Make 360° front or back flips
• Roll: Perform 360° left or right rolls
• Drift: Perform 180° sideways drifts past objects at high speeds, then quickly pull away for an interesting effect.

Works with LightCut

Officially supported by DJI for use with Avata 2, the LightCut app for iOS and Android devices offers you convenient one-touch VFX without having to download footage. AI-based technology analyzes the flight path in the video and lets you use the Sky VFX feature to add overlays, in-air text animations, and more. Plus, the One-Tap Edit feature uses AI recognition of video type and theme to let you intelligently add sound effects, perform color restoration, and more, giving you professionally polished final clips for faster online sharing.

Turtle Mode

If the Avata 2 happens to accidentally end up upside down, Turtle Mode can be used to automatically flip it back to the starting position to quickly get it back in the air.
