Up to 59 minutes flight time for long missions

With up to 59 minutes of flight time and up to 53 minutes of hovering time, the DJI Matrice 400 can cover large areas without frequent battery changes. This makes it ideal for power line inspections, mapping, search and rescue operations, and other missions where long flight time provides higher efficiency and lower operating costs.

6 kg payload and support for multiple sensors simultaneously

Built to carry advanced equipment, the Matrice 400 offers a maximum payload of 6 kg. The platform supports up to seven simultaneous payloads via multiple gimbal positions and E-Port V2 interface. The drone can be equipped with, for example, the Zenmuse H30 series, Zenmuse L3 LiDAR, Zenmuse P1, speakers, spotlights and customized third-party solutions for advanced missions.

LiDAR, radar and advanced obstacle detection

For safe flight in complex environments, the Matrice 400 combines rotating LiDAR, mmWave radar and fisheye cameras with night vision. The system can detect power lines, masts, buildings and other obstacles even in low light conditions, rain or fog. This increases safety when flying near critical infrastructure where precision is essential.

40 km video transmission with O4 Enterprise Enhanced

DJI's O4 Enterprise Enhanced system offers video transmission of up to 40 km in optimal conditions. Ten integrated antennas on the drone along with high-gain antennas in the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise provide stable signal even in environments with high electromagnetic interference.

Airborne Relay for extreme missions

A unique feature of the Matrice 400 is the ability to use one drone as a relay station for another. This makes it possible to maintain communications in mountainous areas, forest terrain and other environments where direct radio visibility would otherwise limit the range.

Intelligent AI detection and automated flight routes

Together with compatible Zenmuse sensors, Matrice 400 can automatically identify people, vehicles and vessels. The platform supports advanced features such as Smart Detection, Smart Track, Point of Interest, Cruise Mode and real-time terrain tracking. This streamlines inspections and reduces the need for manual flying.

Professional mapping and power line inspection

Matrice 400 is designed for advanced photogrammetry and LiDAR scanning. With Zenmuse L3 or other compatible sensors, the drone can automatically follow power lines, create high-resolution 3D models and collect data for GIS, construction projects and infrastructure analysis.

IP55 rated for harsh environments

The drone is built for professional work in challenging conditions. With an IP55 rating, the system is protected against dust and water splashes, while withstanding operating temperatures between -20°C and +50°C. In addition, the Matrice 400 can be used for ship take-offs and landings, making it suitable for marine and offshore-related missions.

Open system for future development
