DJI Mavic 3 Multispectral - Precision for modern agricultural technology

The DJI Mavic 3 Multispectral (Mavic 3M) combines an RGB camera and a multispectral camera in one compact, foldable system. It is designed to analyze crops, monitor vegetation health and optimize agricultural production with unmatched accuracy and efficiency.

Two cameras - double vision

Mavic 3M sees the world in two ways: with a 20 MP RGB camera with 4/3" CMOS sensor and a multispectral unit with four 5 MP sensors (green, red, red edge and near infrared). The combination enables precise crop monitoring, vegetation analysis and environmental research with high data accuracy.

Built-in sunlight sensor for accurate NDVI analysis

The integrated sunlight sensor measures the sun's radiation and saves the data in the image files. This allows programs like DJI Terra to compensate for light changes, providing more accurate NDVI results and consistent data quality over time.

Centimeter-accurate mapping with RTK

Thanks to the RTK module, Mavic 3M achieves centimeter-level positional accuracy. Flight controller, camera and RTK are synchronized in microseconds to accurately record the position of every pixel - without the need for ground-based reference points.

Efficient and stable flight

With a flight time of up to 43 minutes, the drone can map up to 200 hectares in one flight. The advanced O3 transmission technology provides stable signal up to 8 km and multiple wide-angle sensors enable 360° obstacle recognition for safe flights even in hilly terrain.

Areas of application

  • Orchards: Generate high-resolution 3D maps, identify trees and plan safe flight routes for agricultural drones.
  • Cropland: Create NDVI and vegetation maps, analyze growth potential, and optimize fertilization and irrigation strategies.
  • Terrain analysis: Perform automatic terrain recognition, detect weeds, damage and growth issues in real-time via 4G connectivity.
  • Environmental research: Ideal for monitoring water levels, forest cover and urban vegetation.

Open ecosystem for developers

Cloud API: Direct cloud integration via MQTT protocol for real-time data, live stream and image transfer.
MSDK 5: Support for mobile SDK and open source, enabling the development of custom applications for precision agriculture and smart monitoring.
