Sony FS5, FS5M2 Baseplate

Small and lightweight baseplate is a perfect solution for PXW-FS5,FS5M2. It is designed to fit with all the key features of the camera and isalso perfect for drone and gimbal application. At the top of the baseplatethere are rubber pads so that the camera doesn’t sit directly on the aluminum.
The baseplate fits 15 mm standard rods, and the rods are secured with a redratchet knob screw. On the side, you have ¼-20 threaded holes for mountingoptions. Under the baseplate, we added four (4) ¼-20 and two (2) 3/8-16threaded holes that allow you to attach a tripod plate. To reduce the weight ofthe baseplate, we removed excess aluminum from the bottom of the plate duringthe machining process.

It comes with a pair of Rods to let you add variousSHAPE and third-party accessories compatible with 15 mm rods. With these tworods and with a few fundamental accessories, you can most certainly even beginbuilding your own rig from scratch.

We also designed a removable support bracket for a METABONES® adapter (FS5MA) that can be added on the baseplate to support the weight and remove stress to the camera lens mount. Fixed with 2 screws in front of the baseplate, it can be removed when not needed.

(1) ¼-20 and (1) 3/8-16 captive screw are included in this package to secure the camera’s position in translation and rotation so it won’t move. For a precise positioning, we designed the bracket with a 3 mm vertical adjustment to make sure it’s well positioned for the best support. The baseplate includes a set of 15 mm 10 inches rods and is designed with a lightweight system for mounting any standard 15 mm accessories.

Spare Pad for BP series

The V-Lock Replacement Pad from SHAPE is a replacement shoulder pad for the BP SERIES v-lock quick release baseplate (BP0008, BP8000, BP7000). The pad utilizes a hook-and-loop system which allows for easy attachment and removal. The additional padding provided by the strap increases user comfort and reduces strain on the shoulder.

Left telescopic handgrips with ARRI rosettes that can be attached tocameras or camera support hardware that has standard ARRI rosettes, which allowyou to lock your arms in place. The arm features four points of articulation (2Push-button and 2 ratchet knobs) to adjust the arms position. The ratchet knobalong the arms allows you to extend the arms up to 2 inches and rotate thehandgrips throughout 360°. The one near the rosette gives you more option toposition the arm for your comfort.

SHAPE is well known for its patented Push-button handle, now used by so many professionals in the industry. The technology was developed to give filmmakers quick and easy adjustment. By simply pressing the button, you are allowed a 360-degree rotation to place the handle in the best position for your use. Push, adjust, release, and then its lock. The Push-button system on the Handle articulating joint provides additional articulation near the rosette, while the second push-button articulation joint allows you to rotate and precisely position the rubber handgrips.

Sony FS5, FS5M2 adapter plate

SHAPE designed the FS5/FS5M2 adapter plate to allow more adjustment when using the Sony FS5 or FS5M2 camera with the SHAPE V-lock quick release baseplate (BP0008). The adapter also comes with a removable Metabones adaptor  plate (FS5MA) in the front with 3 mm of vertical adjustment to provide great support. Fixed with 2 screws, this will support the weight and reduce the stress of the camera lens mount. For a precise positioning, we designed the bracket with a 3 mm vertical adjustment to make sure it’s well positioned for the best support.

Manufactured in sleek black aluminum anodized, this special editionprofessional follow focus unit combines a sleek look with trusted engineering anda classic design. The SHAPE Follow Focus Pro is an industry workhorse and hasalready proven itself on countless tough shoots all over the world, so youneedn’t worry about it letting you down.

SHAPE engineering is internationallyrenowned and there is one of the most robust motion picture accessories everbuilt. It mounts on 15 mm rods and features an adjustable arm which putsthe gear at the optimal position for the lens, no matter what the diameter is.

The unit snaps onto 15 mm rods, allowing for quick attachment, removal,and repositioning. Two 0.8 pitch gears come included and give you a choice ofeither 28 teeth or 43 teeth – depending on the throw distance of the lens.Additional features include two adjustable hard stops, removable marking disc,and an industry standard accessory port for using optional whips and cranks.

While the Follow Focus Pro contains the essentials for pulling focus on anytype of project production, the choice of either 15 mm rod adaptors means thatyou can SHAPE the system to meet your particular requirements.
